Why can a payout leave a tiny balance behind?Balances
External payout amounts are limited to five decimal places. When an unpaid liability has greater precision, the wizard rounds down to five decimals and preserves the remainder in the miner's unpaid balance instead of silently discarding it.
Why is a miner blocked in the payout wizard?Balances
A positive balance remains visible, but payment selection is disabled when its saved destination is not a valid Monero address. Correct the miner's wallet before payment. The batch is also rejected without partial changes if a wallet or balance changes after review.
Can an admin pay more than my balance?Balances
No. A mining payout is rejected when the amount is zero, negative, greater than the stored unpaid balance, greater than that miner's remaining credit from the selected receipt, or greater than the receipt's remaining net distribution.
Can balances be adjusted?Balances
An admin can add a manual credit or apply a pool-fee, electricity, or hardware deduction with a written description. A deduction cannot exceed the available unpaid balance and creates a corresponding operator reserve entry.
What is Banked XMR?Balances
Banked XMR is the calculated operator reserve: operator-side ledger credits less recorded reserve withdrawals. It is not queried from a wallet. The admin cannot record a withdrawal larger than the reserve ledger balance.
Does recording a payout send XMR?Balances
No. Recording confirms that an external payment was made and stores the reference. The system does not hold private wallet keys or call a wallet RPC to transfer funds.
Why is there only one transaction in my wallet?Balances
The application may contain multiple reward accruals while the wallet shows only completed on-chain payouts. Ledger credits, raffle entries, and pending balances are not blockchain transactions. Compare the dashboard payout history and transaction IDs with the wallet’s synchronized history.
How many coins have I found?Balances
“Blocks found,” unpaid XMR, paid XMR, and raffle prizes are different values. Use the dashboard for stored account totals and your wallet for confirmed transfers. A found block does not mean the full block reward belongs to one miner under PPLNS.
Where can I change my payout wallet?Account
Open Dashboard → Connect, enter the replacement Monero address, and save it. The change applies prospectively and does not alter old payout references.
Which wallet formats are accepted?Account
Valid Monero primary addresses beginning with 4, subaddresses beginning with 8, and supported integrated-length addresses using the Monero Base58 character set are accepted. A malformed, shortened, or whitespace-containing address is rejected.
Does XMR.gives need my seed phrase?Account
No. Never enter a seed phrase, private view key, private spend key, exchange password, or authentication code anywhere in this application or mining configuration.
How long does login last?Account
A valid session lasts up to seven days. Logging out deletes the session cookie. Expired, invalid, or tampered tokens redirect back to login.
Can a miner open admin pages?Account
No. The application checks the session role in the admin shell and again inside every privileged server action. Miner accounts are redirected to their dashboard.
How does the referral link work?Account
Every miner has a unique referral code embedded in the registration URL. A new miner who registers through that URL is linked to the referrer for reporting. Referrals do not currently alter reward calculations or ticket counts.
Can I stop raffle announcement emails?Account
Yes. Clear the email preference in your dashboard or use the unsubscribe link in a result email. This changes only raffle announcements; it does not delete the account, wallet, balance, or tickets.
How do I make a privacy request?Account
Open Support, select “Privacy or data request,” and describe the access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, objection, or consent request. The team may verify account or wallet control before changing or disclosing records.
How often do Pool Stats update?Statistics
The public status page requests fresh website, route-health, and lightweight Main totals every five seconds. Compact Pool Stats views refresh every three seconds. The larger 48-hour work window used to derive current and previous-day ranks is collected hourly and includes verified and window-end times. Browser responses disable caching.
What does PPLNS mean for my payout?Statistics
Pay Per Last N Shares means the pool divides a Monero reward only after it finds a payout block, and only qualifying work still inside the current share window participates. Accepted work does not create an hourly debt by itself. You can mine for hours and receive no XMR if no block is found while your work remains eligible. New PPLNS work also applies the reward-method terms accepted at signup before the route raffle allocation.
Can I still win a raffle when PPLNS pays me nothing?Statistics
Yes. Mining-payout accounting and raffle tickets are separate. After one hour in a program round, each completed 300, 600, or 1,000 good-share target creates another ticket. Longer mining generally produces more accepted shares and therefore more ticket batches, even when no payout block produces a mining credit for that work.
Will XMR.gives add DOGE?Future plans
DOGE is the next planned payout coin. The intended first release keeps miners on the existing Monero RandomX pool and lets an eligible miner request conversion of their recorded payable value to DOGE. It is not a live DOGE mining pool or current payout option yet, and no launch date is promised.
Will choosing DOGE change what my computer mines?Future plans
Not in the planned first release. Your computer would continue doing Monero RandomX work through the existing pool. DOGE would be an operator-processed payout choice, with its own address validation, displayed conversion fee, reference quote, minimum, precision, and transaction evidence before launch.
What do current and average effort mean?Statistics
Current effort compares work spent seeking the present payout block with statistical expectation. Average effort summarizes recently completed payout blocks. About 100% is expectation; above 100% means more work than expected. Neither number is a countdown or guarantee that a block is due.
Which difficulty values are shown?Statistics
Pool share difficulty is the current target used by the pool sharechain, while Monero network difficulty is the chain-wide block target. A connected rig receives its own automatic variable share difficulty, which can differ from both aggregate values and adjusts to that connection's hashrate.
What is the last payout block value?Statistics
It is the mainchain height and timestamp of the latest block found by the payout network, not the current Monero tip. Pool Stats updates the value live when the upstream statistics source publishes a newer payout block.
What happens when a statistics source fails?Statistics
The collector tries the primary network index, local node JSON, and secondary network index in order. The page shows the active source class and whether failover is active without publishing backend URLs. Ranking freshness is monitored separately because the large sharechain endpoint is not available from every lightweight source.
How does the public Top 10 leaderboard protect privacy?Statistics
It ranks actual Main-wide canonical sharechain work over a rolling 24-hour window and displays only the first and final four characters of each public payout address. The response does not include an XMR.gives email, worker, balance, full wallet, or account ID, and it never fills empty positions with generated wallets.
Can I opt out of the public leaderboard?Statistics
Dashboard → Status alerts excludes your account wallet from account-derived XMR.gives rankings. The current Main-wide Top 10 is independently calculated from public network records and is not linked to website accounts, so an account preference cannot rewrite that sharechain history. All displayed network addresses remain masked.
What does leaderboard movement mean?Statistics
Movement compares a miner's weighted Main network-work position in the current rolling 24 hours with the preceding 24-hour period. New means the masked payout address had no preceding-period rank; it does not mean the address registered with XMR.gives.
How are the 24-hour and 30-day charts built?Statistics
The status worker stores Main network hashrate, payout-window miner count, and block-effort samples once per minute. The public feed groups 24 hours into 15-minute averages and 30 days into six-hour averages. Local route or account hashrate is not mixed into these charts.
What does the payout-window concentration view mean?Statistics
It groups effective sharechain work into the top miner, ranks 2-5, ranks 6-10, and everyone else. The concentration index is the sum of squared work percentages: below 1500 is labeled low, 1500-2499 moderate, and 2500 or more high. It describes work distribution, not ownership or payout guarantees.
How is the collection address rank shown?Statistics
The configured collection payout address is looked up across the complete 24-hour masked ranking and displayed separately from the Top 10. If it produced no public sharechain work in that window, the page says Not ranked rather than inventing a position.
How is uptime calculated?Statistics
Operational and degraded samples count as available; outage samples count as unavailable. Percentages and retained one-minute sample coverage are published for 24 hours, seven days, and 30 days. Monthly reports repeat coverage so missing pre-monitoring history is not presented as downtime.
What do the latency values measure?Statistics
Each route has a one-minute local TCP connection measurement and a separate full login-to-RandomX-job timing. Independent hourly Globalping checks connect from Europe, North America, and Asia. Geographic rows measure remote TCP reachability; the explicitly labeled pool-edge check validates the job structure and is not falsely presented as running at the geographic probe.
How quickly does my activity appear under Connect?Statistics
Connect renders the latest account snapshot immediately and requests a no-cache update every two seconds. Accepted shares and progress toward the next mining ticket appear after upstream confirms the submission and the gateway commits it to your registered account. A ticket appears only when the displayed accumulated-work threshold is reached.
Does Live feed mean my miner is connected?Statistics
Live feed means the browser is successfully receiving current account data. Miner activity is confirmed separately by a changing accepted-share count, non-zero rolling hashrate, a recent Last accepted time, or a new ticket. Low-hashrate miners can remain connected for some time before producing an accepted share.
What does Reconnecting mean?Statistics
The latest aggregate-stat request failed or the upstream data source was incomplete. It does not automatically mean the Stratum endpoints are offline. Check your miner’s job and share messages separately.
Why do mainchain and sharechain heights differ?Statistics
They count different sequences of blocks. The mainchain height follows Monero’s blockchain; the sharechain height follows the pool reward-accounting chain. They are expected to differ.
Why does public hashrate differ from my dashboard?Statistics
Public hashrate is an aggregate estimate from the current mining network. Dashboard hashrate is an account-specific stored metric. They differ in scope, update path, and averaging period.
How can I monitor the host’s live mining logs?Statistics
Host operators can use

What data appears in winner announcements?Security
The winner receives their full wallet in their private congratulatory email. Other opted-in miners see only the first four and final four characters. The client results page also masks the public winner wallet.
What should I include when reporting a problem?Security
Include the approximate time with timezone, endpoint and port, miner software/version, algorithm, worker name with sensitive parts minimized, and the exact error. Never send a password, private key, seed phrase, or full session cookie.
Which cookies does XMR.gives use?Security
The site currently uses only
xmr_gives_session for signed-in authentication for up to seven days and xmr_cookie_consent to remember a cookie choice for up to six months. No analytics, advertising, or cross-site tracking cookies are active.Can I reject optional cookies?Security
Yes. Choose Essential only in the consent panel. Public pages and login still work because authentication and the preference record are strictly necessary. Reopen the panel at any time with Cookie settings in the footer.
Do I need an account to contact support?Support
No. Use xmr.gives/support. Signed-in miners can instead use Dashboard → Support, which keeps the persistent client sidebar visible.
Does the support form use Google reCAPTCHA?Support
No. It uses a first-party arithmetic challenge that needs no external registration or tracking service. The signed challenge expires after ten minutes, cannot be reused after a successful submission, and is combined with a honeypot and network throttling.
Why was my support form rate-limited?Support
The service accepts up to five requests from the same one-way network hash in one hour. This limit reduces automated mail abuse without storing the raw address in the support table. Wait one hour and submit once with complete details.
How is a support request delivered?Support
The request and a safely escaped HTML email are recorded atomically. The existing durable outbox worker sends it through the TLS-protected SMTP server configured under Admin → Settings and uses the sender email as Reply-To.
How are winner emails delivered?Operations
The app writes durable outbox rows and a separate worker sends them through authenticated STARTTLS SMTP. Successful and failed deliveries receive status records, and admin can retry failures after correcting the mail service.
Where are SMTP settings managed?Operations
Admin → Settings contains host, port, STARTTLS or TLS mode, username, write-only password, sender name, and sender address. Admin can queue a test and retry failed messages. The worker reloads saved settings automatically.
Where is Microsoft Artifact Signing configured?Operations
Admin → Artifact signing contains the protected setup wizard. It records non-secret identity and Azure resource details, shows six readiness checks, downloads SignTool metadata, and tests the account/profile through Microsoft's management SDK. Which individual details belong in the signing admin page?Operations
Only the exact legal first and last names, verification email, US billing address mirror, and eligibility/match confirmations requested by the workflow. Never enter or upload a passport, driver licence, Social Security number, date of birth, bank statement, utility bill, private key, or Azure client secret. Submit evidence only through Microsoft's portal-directed verifier.
Which Azure roles are required for Artifact Signing?Operations
The human validation operator needs Artifact Signing Identity Verifier at account scope. The CI identity needs Artifact Signing Certificate Profile Signer at the narrow certificate-profile scope. Contributor is used to create resources. Owner by itself does not replace service-specific signing permission.
Can the app complete Azure individual identity verification by API?Operations
No. Microsoft requires individual identity validation in Azure portal. The XMR.gives API manages non-secret configuration and tests existing account/profile access; it does not submit identity evidence or pretend a local status selection is proof of Microsoft approval.
Can a certificate thumbprint and serial number sign the Windows installer?Operations
No. Those values identify the certificate expected in a completed signature, but they provide no private signing capability and do not locate an Artifact Signing profile. Azure signing still requires the exact regional endpoint, Artifact Signing account name, certificate profile name, an authenticated build identity with Certificate Profile Signer access, and the Windows SignTool integration. The release script uses the identifiers as a fail-closed post-signing check.
How will a verified Windows build be signed?Operations
A controlled Windows build agent uses the repository's

Who is alerted when the ranking snapshot is stale?Operations
A snapshot older than two hours opens an automatic public incident. Every administrator receives a durable email regardless of their optional client-alert preference, while opted-in incident subscribers receive the same public update. A current snapshot automatically resolves the incident.
Does the legal centre guarantee compliance everywhere?Legal
No website policy can do that. The Terms, Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, consent controls, retention, and security measures address the application's disclosed operation, but LoveMedia must still obtain legal classification, registrations, approvals, oversight, tax advice, and jurisdiction-specific review required before offering a program.

That does not override legal exclusions: a director, member, employee, agent, consultant, auditor, supplier, or related person is ineligible wherever applicable law or the published rules require exclusion.
How should admin process miner withdrawals?Operations
Open Admin → Payouts and use Workflow A. Verify the miner, network, complete wallet, requested XMR, fee, and net value; lock the request; send or convert externally; wait for a transaction reference; record actual BTC delivered where applicable; confirm completion; and mark it paid once. Reject only when no transfer was made because rejection restores the complete reservation.
When should admin use the four-step payout wizard?Operations
Use Workflow B Step 1 when a confirmed master-wallet mining reward must be allocated to unsettled work. Use Steps 2-4 only after selecting that receipt or another active receipt from settlement history. The batch contains only that receipt's net mining credits. Never enter a miner-requested withdrawal or separately funded prize liability in Workflow B.
What does the app not automate?Operations
It does not custody keys, broadcast Monero or Bitcoin transfers, lock an exchange rate, verify exchange payments, choose external raffle winners, or prove prize funding. Those are controlled operational workflows with records added by authorized staff.
Before requesting help
Record the exact error, timestamp with timezone, hostname, port, algorithm, mining-software version, and whether TLS was enabled. Compare your settings with Dashboard → Connect and check the live status page. Do not include wallet seeds, private keys, account passwords, SMTP credentials, or session cookies.
For accounting questions, distinguish the gross reward, route allocation, unpaid balance, recorded payout, wallet transaction, raffle prize, and raffle payout reference. Those are separate records and often explain apparently conflicting totals.
Submit the request through Support. Registered miners can use Dashboard → Support without leaving the dashboard shell.
